NFL Draft is like American Idol

The Texans just signed NC State DE Mario Williams to a 9 year, $54 million deal, snubbing Reggie Bush of that top tier money.

But we at The Foul Pole have realized that the NFL Draft is one of the biggest crapshoots in all of sports. It is very much like any "vote 'em off" show because a team is always doing something behind the backs of the Mel Kipers of the world. Someone that you didn't think they would draft (or vote off) gets drafted.

We don't know about you, but we definitely thought that Mario Williams was going number one. Hire us ESPN.

This is just a hunch, but I also have a feeling that the Packers will send their T.O.-like receiver, Javon Walker, and the number 5 pick to the Saints for the number two pick (and maybe Dante Stallworth). You're through, Kipe!
