NFL - NO FUN LEAGUE -pt.1

They're at it again. The NFL can't seem to let their players have any fun.

MJD is the latest victim in the "No Fun League" policy. Apparently the goal post is a prop and he utilized it like an ATM machine (which if you didn't get a chance to see it - it was funny & entertaining).

I am getting sick of the NFL not letting their players "entertain" after the TD's. Where are the good old days: the Icky Shuffle, the FATMAN dance, the bowling pin action, the coconut slam? Things aren't the same anymore.

The NFL needs to just let 'em play and have fun. No harm comes from this. I mean the cell phone in the goal post pads was too much, but come on - this is supposed to be entertainment. Its too much of a business. This blows!

If it was just business, they'd let them do whatever. But what about setting an example to the young people about good sportsmanship. That idea is long gone.

Players who do that have to respect for the game and their opponets and should be fined if they do it accordingley

I'm not entirely sure what Yakob was saying, but as long as its not disrepectful to your opponents or offensive let them celebrate. TO going to the middle of dallas star when he was a 49er, disrespectful; Randy moss faking mooning, borderline offensive. However MJD using the ATM, guys pumping life into a football, even TO making fun of spygate... there's nothing wrong with that.

it's one thing to celebrate in the end zone, or on your own sideline, go nuts, have a good time. However when you're running all the way to midfield on the opposing teams field to celebrate on the their logo... there's really no need for it.

I have no problem with any touchdown celebrations. If you are an opponent and get offended, then you should keep that person from scoring. Most of these celebrations are entertaining. And that should be a good thing for the league.
