NCAA Football Championship Tournment.

We all know that this doesn't exist and won't exist under any conditions until the NCAA members agree to cut the amount of football during the regular season and allow a 32 team tournment to come to pass.  The bottom line of this situation is the universities are never going to release this idea to come into passing.  Money and big money runs the NCAA football programs and no university official is going to vote for a system that reduces the money intake from their own university to help determine a NCAA Natiional Championship. The BCS is a joke and for that matter so is the UP and AP awards. Any championship that is voted on without playing a game means nothing if another team may or may not be better because someone else said so.  What has happened to NCAA football is television and more television. Money on top of money.  Milliions of dollars runs into the university athelic department every day.  This is what helps runs the rest of the sports programs at all the NCAA schools.  From Divisioin 1 to Division 3. No football money no other sports except at a very few universities that could get along without it.  People will say I am wrong about this but if you look at what has happened in the past you will see just how much money has to do with why there is no NCAA National Championship tournment.  They say education comes first, can't let the students out of this much class time, travel expenses, costs etc.....Nothing but a lot of crap.  Now on the other hand is it worth it go to this kind of system.  For the big powerful schools maybe but for most it isn't worth it to them in the end. And the NCAA would lose millions to itself if it allowed this system to go into place. The NCAA is and has been the most powerful group in university sports.  Only a few have ever done what they wanted and didn't have the NCAA coming after them.  But this idea is just something to batter about and keep talking about because that is what is going to happen it will be talked about for years but in the end the results will be the same..NO NCAA CHAMPIONSHIP TOURNMENT.
