My Football Picks: Clemson vs. Temple

In my new series, I will be picking games against the spread to help out the casual fan win some cha-ching $$. vs.

The Line: Clemson, -44 1/2

As sad as that line is, I'm going to have to go with Clemson. Temple is one bad football team. They have been beat 62-0 twice this season, and even Vanderbilt put 43 on 'em.

Prediction: Clemson- 59 Temple- 6

it's been that way since forever. I remember as a freshman in 1991 they were talking about eliminating football! (Our baseball team was pretty sad sack too...) At Temple it's all about basketball and avoiding muggings, gunfire and cars on Broad St

We had Temple "T" shirts that had a handgun in front of the "T" and a caption that said "You're not in Kansas anymore"... seriously! it's not players or students with guns, it's just that Nawf Philly neighborhood...ya'mean? But there is kickass security on campus.

This game is so sad. This is a HOME game for Temple and it's in Charlotte. I will be attending on Thursday, and I'm gonna wager a guess that I see 3 Temple fans all night.

Hey Skinny, before the season started I predicted Clemson to be the best team in the ACC all season long, and to win the conference. I knew Miami was going downhill, and FSU was overrated.... I thought Terry had everything in place for a special season, and they've had one.

Yeah I had a feeling we were going to be good this year as well. I mean, 1 extra point away from being undefeated. Next year with a top 3 high school quarterback Willy Korn coming in with the running back tandem of Davis and Spiller, watch out.
