USA 2 Brazil 1:
No longer shall I make fun of the USA youth team. That was probably the game of the tournament. Red Bull New York's Jozi Altidore scored both US goals, including the winning goal in the 81st minute, to help the US possibly knock Brazil out of the tournament. With this win, the U-20 team will advance to the knockout stage in Toronto on July 11th. It's a coincidence, that both Altidore and Freddy Adu are both foreigners. So a little memo to the government, to solve the immigration problem, for every Mexican crossing the border, give them a soccer ball, and see if they can play.
As for Brazil, they had many chances to score, and could only convert on one, a little tap in by Leandro Lima in the 64th minute, just before the US keeper could get to it.
Now the powerhouse has finished group stage with just a 1-2 record, and are in danger of being eliminated. This is surely disappointing for Brazil, but you have to give credit to the US, because they've showed, that once they graduate to the senior level, they'll be a danger in the soccer tournaments they participate in.
