My Ears File Restraining Order Against Joe Morgan's Mouth

Thats right I'm filing a Restraining Order on behalf of my ears against Joe Morgan's mouth and any words uttered about baseball. How can somebody who has been in the baseball world for so long and is a Hall of Fame second basemen babble on about nothingness for an entire game and pass it off as baseball knowledge. Morgan must be black-mailing ESPN for keeping him on the air for so long, but the madness has to stop. I begging ESPN... Please end your viewers misery and FIRE JOE, he is a joke!

FIVE THOUSAND thumbs up to you, Ibearg! Tim McCarver is worse than ESPN squared by the coefficient of an icepick made of lava inserted directly into your eardrums divided by ubiquitous references about collapsing bridges and mines plus the square root of the tears of Michael Vick's dogs. But I still say Morgan should be Commish... (call me crazy, but he'd do it well)

I like Morgan, but it is getting to the point where even I have to say Morgan needs to go.

Morgan is not only yapping endlessly on stuff, but he is getting facts wrong - facts wrong about his own career.

Everyone has a bas season, including broadcasters. Morgan needs to turns things around over the last 2 months of the season. If he continues to make mistakes, then the only think ESPN can do is to can Joe Morgan.

From what I understand Joe Morgan and Jon Miller do not get along at all. The reasoning I have been told is Morgan's womanizing. You can take the player out of the game, but not the game out of the player.

Joe Morgan uttered the following words about Jose Reyes on Sunday night, after slipping on the lip of the outfield and still making the throw in time to first:

"Now that's what you call arm strength. His arm was strong enough to still make an accurate throw even though he slipped."

On Sunday night after Luis Castillo almost lost a pop-up in the wind at Wrigley, Joe Morgan blurted out something to the effect that Castillo is not familiar with the wind at Wrigley because he has played his whole career in the AL. I think ESPN keeps him employed because it keeps people talking. As bad as he is, he is like a car wreck, you almost want to tune in just to see what moronic thing he will say next.
