Don't be surprised to see Ryan Howard make a late run at making the NL roster.

This is a great team Trecole, I have no problem with one player on the team, even the reserves. Nicely done.

I know, tell me about it. Why don't you put Alfonso Soriano in there to represent the Cubs? He's been on fire as of late. He's gotten off to a slow start but I think he should make it. I'd put some room in there for him... maybe Dunn? Bay? Ehh..tough decision for me...

I thought I was the only one who thought Ben Sheets had a chance. He's making a nice little push for the All-Star team with that 1.63 June ERA. Gotta love it if four Brewers make it. You would think Fielder, Hardy and Cordero are locks at this point, even if Fielder doesn't get voted in. Would like it if Corey Hart got some love too; he's knocking the ball around pretty well since being put in the leadoff position.

I like Youkilis, but the only guy I'd maybe replace for him is Lowell. Good call on Soriano, I forgot the Cubs. He will be an all-star over Bay.

Thanks. Youklis had a better year than Lowell, both offensively and defensively. I'd put Youklis over over him if I were you too...

Sheets could make it as well. I had to pick two between him, Webb and Snell and I think Webb and Snell are having better overall years.

discard that last comment, I mixed some players up there. I meant to say mention Matt Morris as the guy I left out.

Could someone tell me why Bonds should be on the All-Star team? Is it just because the game is in San Francisco this year? All the baggage aside, is he an All-Star or is this just a case of a "name player" being added?

a few reasons are the fact that he leads the NL in OPS. He's also 6th in the league in hr's at about 100 less ab's than the other leaders. And he's hitting .300. Just because he's not well liked, doesn't mean he's not having a good year.

If only the fans would vote like you did we would have a great All Star game. Looks like Mets may be doing some ballot stuffing this season since they have so many players in top 5 of voting for most positions.

If only we had some sort of Senate for All Star voting and MVP and Cy Young and Rookie of the Year and Gold Glove Awards. Then everything would be AOK!!

This looks pretty good, however I'd like to know which pitchers you'd have starting in the 1st. I'm iffy on Santana being on the roster, though i agree with the other starters.
