Murray Shelton (Murray Norcross Shelton) was born on April 20, 1893 in Dunkirk, New York. After going to high school at Dunkirk (NY) and Phillips Anodver (Andover,MA), Shelton attended Cornell University. Shelton made his professional debut in the APFA in 1920 with the Buffalo All-Americans. He played for the Buffalo All-Americans for his entire 1 year career.
