Mulder Lands on the DL

8
Vote

The St. Louis Cardinals will place SP Mark Mulder on the 15-day DL with shoulder problems. Sidney Ponson will likely replace Mulder in the rotation. Mulder was pummeled Tuesday night in a 20-6 loss, allowing nine runs in Chicago's 11-run third inning. His earned-run average has ballooned to 6.09.

This does not surprise me. He is on my fantasy baseball team, and his few starts have been terrible. Shame, I think there is something serious wrong with the shoulder.

You think they're starting to miss matt morris. I know he's having a rough go of it as well, but between him carpenter and mulder they could get at least one win...now its looking a little rough. at least reyes has look solid
