Mox McQuery (William Thomas McQuery) was born on June 28, 1861 in Garrard County, Kentucky. He made his Major League debut on August 20, 1884 for the Cincinnati Outlaw Reds. In 1884, his rookie year, he hit .280 with 2 home runs and 0 RBI. McQuery played for the Cincinnati Outlaw Reds, Detroit Wolverines, Kansas City Cowboys, [[]] and Washington Senators over the course of his 5 year career.
Most people believe that Mox McQuery's best season was 1890, when he stole 26 bases, hit for a .308 average and knocked in 55 runs.
