Most loved player in the NFL? You decide.

I think LT is the most loved player but maybe you think someone else is. Now I live in Phily just about so it's not that Im a Chargers fan. I love the Philadelphia Eagles. So don't let your bias get in the way of making your pick.

LT, Peyton Manning, Shaun Alexander, Troy Polamalu, Reggie Bush, Marvin Harrison, Vince Young or maybe somone else I put down some general names.

This is a very very difficult question to answer, and there are a lot of things to consider. Peyton Manning is the most visable player in the NFL, with Reggie Bush being a close second. Most loved could go to Tom Brady, as he has been the golden boy of the NFL for the past few seasons. Its hard to say really.

I'd go with LT -- does anybody, from any city, really hate LT? Reggie Bush is pretty beloved, too; I don't think anybody hates him. Marvin Harrison is another guy that's hard to dislike. Brady and Manning have been higher-profile, but each has a group of fans who absolutely hate their guts. So I'm gonna say it's Tomlinson.

I hate LT. I think he's a guy who as soon as people don't give him respect, he whines like a baby and it drove me crazy with his "classless" comments he made

I thought that comment was a lapse in judgment, but you can understand why he was frustrated, since his team/coach totally choked away a playoff game. Even as a Pats fan, I don't hold that against him. LT is a great player, and, by all accounts, a fine gentleman as well. IMHO, that one incident doesn't make him hate-worthy.

I'm from Dallas and it's not Romo. He was the NFL darling for about five weeks, but it's over now.

No one dislikes Harrison as D21W suggested, but unfortunately he doesn't inspire a passionate following, either. Being the most loved is not the same as being the most not hated.

This is starting to sound like a 'what does MVP mean' debate, which I actually just posted.

I think to be most loved, you have to have a passionate following. This means, of course, that you will have some haters, too. So I go with Brady, the Golden Boy.

Right now, I'd go Favre. The only people I know of who hate him are Vikings fans who hate him for being a Packer not for being prety favre. In about 5-6 years, I'd go someone from this list:

• VY
• Reggie Bush
• Maurice Jones-Drew
• Laurence Maroney
• Alex Smith
• Micheal Vick
• Joseph Addai
• Calvin Johnson

You're right, Favre is probably the undisputed MBP ("most beloved player"). And Vince Young could definitely be up there in a few years, too. But I think plenty of people hate Mike Vick with a passion, though, and Maurice Jones-Drew probably isn't too popular with Jewish fans. Good call on CJ, by the way; with his skills, demeanor, and work ethic, he is total MBP material.

MJD might have some haters, but he's a possibility. I essentially threw out the top name rookies over the past few years, and then threw in Vick because if he can lead ATL to a Championship(that's a big if), he'll get in the mix

Thats a hard question, Reggie Bush would be up in the top for me with Peyton Manning close behind. But you forgot to add Troy Brown to the list. Im not letting my bias get in the way I just think he should be on the list
