Mossy Cade
[edit] Biography
Mossy Cade (Tommories Cade) was born on December 26, 1961 in Eloy, Arizona. After going to high school at Santa Cruz Valley (Eloy, AZ), Cade attended the University of Texas. Cade made his professional debut in the NFL in 1985 with the Green Bay Packers. He played for the Green Bay Packers for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1986 was Cade's best year, as he picked off 4 passes. His career was short, however; as on May 23, 1987, Cade was found guilty on two counts of second-degree sexual assault in Brown County circuit court. Cade assaulted a woman who was an overnight guest in his De Pere home in November, 1985. Cade served one year and three months of a two-year sentence and was released in 1988. He was claimed on waivers by the Minnesota Vikings but was ineligible for the 1988 season, and never took the field again.
