Mortimer Hogan (Mortimer Edward Hogan) was born on 1862 in Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 27, 1884 for the Milwaukee Grays. In 1888, his rookie year, he hit .227 with 0 home runs and 24 RBI. Hogan played for the Milwaukee Grays, New York Metropolitans and Cleveland Spiders over the course of his 3 year career.
