Born on October 7, 1940 in Salem, Illinois, Morrie Steevens (Morris Dale Steevens) played for the Chicago Cubs and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 3 year career. Steevens broke into the bigs on April 13, 1962 with the Chicago Cubs.
