Morrie Rath (Morris Charles Rath) was born on December 25, 1886 in Mobeetie, Texas. He made his Major League debut on September 28, 1909 for the Philadelphia Athletics. In 1912, his rookie year, he hit .272 with 1 home run and 19 RBI. Rath played for the Philadelphia Athletics, Cleveland Naps, Chicago White Sox and Cincinnati Reds over the course of his 6 year career.

Most people believe that Morrie Rath's best season was 1912, when he stole 30 bases.
