Morrie Arnovich

Morrie Arnovich (Morris Arnovich) was born on November 16, 1910 in Superior, Wisconsin. He made his Major League debut on September 14, 1936 for the Philadelphia Phillies. In 1937, his rookie year, he hit .290 with 10 home runs and 60 RBI. Arnovich played for the Philadelphia Phillies, Cincinnati Reds and New York Giants over the course of his 7 year career.
Most people believe that Morrie Arnovich's best season was 1939, when he hit for a .324 average and knocked in 67 runs.
