More Help: Tables of Contents?

How does one include a table of contents at the top of an article? As far as I can tell, there isn't a command for it, but just having a bunch of section headings won't do it. I'm editing the Silver Slugger Award page as part of working on the MLB encyclopedia. Thanks!
