Moose McCormick (Harry Elwood McCormick) was born on February 28, 1881 in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on April 14, 1904 for the Pittsburgh Pirates. In 1904, his rookie year, he hit .279 with 3 home runs and 49 RBI. McCormick played for the Pittsburgh Pirates, New York Giants and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 5 year career.

Most people believe that Moose McCormick's best season was 1904, when he hit for a .279 average.
