Born on April 22, 1956 in Baltimore, Maryland, Moose Haas (Bryan Edmund Haas) played for the Milwaukee Brewers and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 12 year career. Haas broke into the bigs on September 8, 1976 with the Milwaukee Brewers, and put up a 4.33 ERA in 197.2 innings pitched in 1977, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Moose Haas's best season was 1980, when he posted a 3.10 ERA, won 16 games and struck out 146 batters.
