Monte Jackson (Monte Carl Jackson) was born on July 14, 1953 in Sherman, Texas. After going to high school at St. Augustine (San Diego, CA), Jackson attended Mesa Community College and San Diego State University. Jackson made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Los Angeles Rams. He played for the Los Angeles Rams, Oakland Raiders and Los Angeles Raiders over the course of his 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1976 was Monte Jackson's best year, as he picked off 10 passes and ran back 3 interceptions for touchdowns.
