Monk Moscrip

Monk Moscrip (James Henderson Moscrip) was born on September 17, 1913 in Adena, Ohio. After going to high school at Adena (OH) and Kiski Prep (Saltsburg, PA), Moscrip attended Stanford University. Moscrip made his professional debut in the NFL in 1938 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions for his entire 2 year career.
Most people believe that 1939 was Monk Moscrip's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
