Born on July 21, 1935 in Ozanna, Poland, Moe Drabowsky (Myron Walter Drabowsky) played for the Chicago Cubs, Milwaukee Braves, Kansas City Athletics, Cincinnati Reds, Baltimore Orioles, Kansas City Royals, St. Louis Cardinals and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 17 year career. Drabowsky broke into the bigs on August 7, 1956 with the Chicago Cubs, and put up a 2.47 ERA in 51 innings pitched in 1956, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Moe Drabowsky's best season was 1967, when he posted a 1.60 ERA, notched 12 saves and struck out 96 batters.
