The Twins finished off a sweep of the Orioles this afternoon with an 11-3 victory. The offense again showed up to play, and again had at least one homerun. Scott Baker ran into a little trouble in the third and fourth innings, but allowed no runs outside of that. With the win, they extended their winning streak to five games, and are 67-63 on the season overall.

Scott Baker has been a pretty good pitcher for the Twins this season, and pretty consistent with that. Today, he again put forth another good outing, lasting 6 innings, while allowing 7 hits and 3 runs (2 earned). With the win, he is now 7-6 on the season with a very decent 4.42 ERA.

After he left, Cali, Rincon and DePaua each came in and pitched nice innings of work. Cail was in first, and walked one in a scoreless inning. Rincon then put forth another nice outing, allowing no runs. The ninth inning again went to DePaula, and pitched a solid inning as well.

The offense had another nice game today, and had four of them on the series. Today, they scored eleven runs and collected fourteen total hits. The offense did it collectively as well, as seven different players recorded at least one RBI, and eighth players collected at least one hit with five getting more than one.
