Milt Thompson (Milton Bernard Thompson) was born on January 5, 1959 in Washington, D.C.. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1984 for the Atlanta Braves. In 1985, his rookie year, he hit .302 with 0 home runs and 6 RBI. Thompson played for the Atlanta Braves, Philadelphia Phillies, St. Louis Cardinals, Houston Astros, Los Angeles Dodgers and Colorado Rockies over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Milt Thompson's best season was 1987, when he stole 46 bases and hit for a .302 average.
