Born on August 3, 1917 in Manteca, California, Milo Candini (Milo Cain Candini) played for the Washington Senators and Philadelphia Phillies over the course of his 8 year career. Candini broke into the bigs on May 1, 1943 with the Washington Senators, and put up a 2.49 ERA in 166 innings pitched in 1943, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Milo Candini's best season was 1943, when he posted a 2.49 ERA, won 11 games and struck out 67 batters.
