Milestone Watch(August 1st-4th)

Due to all the milestones in the MLB so close to being passed,  I have decided to make a list every Sunday that could possibly be broken  that week.  Since it is midweek I will do one right now for August 1st until Sat. and then release a new one on Sunday.  So here is the first edition:

This list contains the 15 most likely milestones to be achieved in the upcoming week.

The list includes either general milestones or surpassing players in the top 10 all-time of a statistical category.

The top of the list shows the most likely to happen in the next week, the further down the list, the less likely it will happen this week.

Probably 95%. As much as I hate to say it... I don't think A-Rod has. I don't know why, but he comes across as the freak-player of our generation. The guy that can do anything... without steroids. But I wouldn't mind being wrong on that one.

When did it become fashionable to track games played so intently? My hope was the 2600+ would put that to rest for good. And 100HR? How about defining milestones as something 50% of the league hasn't achieved.

There's only been 695 players in ALL of MLB history to surpass 100 career HR. (Only 283 have > 200) That's less than there are players currently on active rosters

You are correct Stiles. But there are 118 current active players with 100 or more, so still, in this era not so impressive. Somebody getting to 200 or more (58 active) is still worth mentioning.
