Mike Woods (Michael Jay Woods) was born on November 1, 1954 in Cleveland, Ohio. After going to high school at Benedictine (Cleveland, OH), Woods attended Ellsworth JC, the University of Cincinnati and the University of Tampa. Woods made his professional debut in the NFL in 1979 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 3 year career.

Most people believe that 1980 was Mike Woods's best year.
