Mike Weger (Michael Roy Weger) was born on October 2, 1945 in Dallas, Texas. After going to high school at Bowling Green (OH), Weger attended Bowling Green State University. Weger made his professional debut in the NFL in 1967 with the Detroit Lions. He played for the Detroit Lions and Houston Oilers over the course of his 10 year career.
Most people believe that 1970 was Mike Weger's best year, as he picked off 5 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
