Mike Washington (Michael Lee Washington) was born on July 1, 1953 in Montgomery, Alabama. After going to high school at Booker T. Washington (Montgomery, AL) and Robert E. Lee (Montgomery, AL), Washington attended the University of Alabama. Washington made his professional debut in the NFL in 1976 with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He played for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for his entire 9 year career.
Most people believe that 1981 was Mike Washington's best year, as he picked off 6 passes and ran back an interception for a touchdown.
