Mike Wagner (Michael Robert Wagner) was born on June 22, 1949 in Waukegan, Illinois. After going to high school at Carmel (Mundelein, IL), Wagner attended Western Illinois University. Wagner made his professional debut in the NFL in 1971 with the Pittsburgh Steelers. He played for the Pittsburgh Steelers for his entire 10 year career.
