Mike Tresh (Michael Tresh) was born on February 23, 1914 in Hazleton, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 4, 1938 for the Chicago White Sox. In 1939, his rookie year, he hit .259 with 0 home runs and 38 RBI. Tresh played for the Chicago White Sox and Cleveland Indians over the course of his 12 year career.

Most people believe that Mike Tresh's best season was 1940, when he hit for a .281 average and knocked in 64 runs.
