Mike Thomas (Malcolm Thomas) was born on July 17, 1953 in Greenville, Texas. After going to high school at Greenville (TX), Thomas attended the University of Nevada-Las Vegas and the University of Oklahoma. Thomas made his professional debut in the NFL in 1975 with the Washington Redskins. He played for the Washington Redskins and San Diego Chargers over the course of his 6 year career.
Most people believe that 1976 was Mike Thomas's best year, as he ran for 1101 yards, ran in 5 TDs and caught 4 TD passes.
