Mike Taliaferro

Mike Taliaferro (Myron Eugene Taliaferro) was born on July 26, 1941 in Houston, Texas. After going to high school at Wheaton (IL), Taliaferro attended the University of Illinois. Taliaferro made his professional debut in the AFL in 1964 with the New York Jets. He played in the AFL for 6 years, playing for the New York Jets and Boston Patriots over the course of his 6 year AFL career.Taliaferro also played in the NFL for 2 years, playing for the Buffalo Bills and Boston Patriots over the course of his 2 year NFL career.
Most people believe that 1969 was Mike Taliaferro's best year, as he threw for 2160 yards and tossed 19 TDs.
