Born on March 14, 1947 in Chicago, Illinois, Mike Strahler (Michael Wayne Strahler) played for the Los Angeles Dodgers and Detroit Tigers over the course of his 4 year career. Strahler broke into the bigs on September 12, 1970 with the Los Angeles Dodgers, and put up a 4.37 ERA in 80.1 innings pitched in 1973, his rookie year.
