Mike Stoops (Michael J. Stoops) was born on December 13, 1961 in Youngstown, Ohio. After going to high school at Cardinal Mooney (Youngstown, OH), Stoops attended the University of Iowa. Stoops made his professional debut in the NFL in 1987 with the Chicago Bears. He played for the Chicago Bears for his entire 1 year career.
