Mike Sharperson (Michael Tyrone Sharperson) was born on October 4, 1961 in Orangeburg, South Carolina. He made his Major League debut on April 6, 1987 for the Toronto Blue Jays. In 1990, his rookie year, he hit .297 with 3 home runs and 36 RBI. Sharperson played for the Toronto Blue Jays, Los Angeles Dodgers and Atlanta Braves over the course of his 8 year career.

Most people believe that Mike Sharperson's best season was 1990, when he hit for a .297 average.
