Mike Ruth (Michael Joseph Ruth) was born on June 25, 1964 in Norristown, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Methacton (Fairview Village, PA), Ruth attended Boston College. Ruth made his professional debut in the NFL in 1986 with the New England Patriots. He played for the New England Patriots for his entire 2 year career.

Most people believe that 1986 was Mike Ruth's best year.
