Mike Rengel (Michael James Rengel) was born on December 1, 1946 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. After going to high school at DeLaSalle (Minneapolis, MN), Rengel attended United States Air Force Academy, the University of Hawaii and the University of Minnesota. Rengel made his professional debut in the NFL in 1969 with the New Orleans Saints. He played for the New Orleans Saints for his entire 1 year career.
