Born on March 23, 1966 in Middletown, New York, Mike Remlinger (Michael John Remlinger) played for the San Francisco Giants, New York Mets, Cincinnati Reds, Atlanta Braves, Chicago Cubs and Boston Red Sox over the course of his 14 year career. Remlinger broke into the bigs on June 15, 1991 with the San Francisco Giants, and put up a 4.61 ERA in 54.2 innings pitched in 1994, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Mike Remlinger's best season was 1999, when he posted a 2.37 ERA, won 10 games and struck out 81 batters.
