Mike Redmond (Michael Patrick Redmond) was born on May 5, 1971 in Seattle, Washington. He made his Major League debut on May 31, 1998 for the Florida Marlins. In 1999, his rookie year, he hit .302 with 1 home run and 27 RBI. Redmond played for the Florida Marlins and Minnesota Twins over the course of his 9 year career.

Most people believe that Mike Redmond's best season was 2002, when he hit for a .305 average.
