Mike Piazza (Michael Joseph Piazza) was born on September 4, 1968 in Norristown, Pennsylvania. He made his Major League debut on September 1, 1992 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1993, his rookie year, he hit .318 with 35 home runs and 112 RBI. Piazza played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, Florida Marlins and San Diego Padres over the course of his 15 year career.

Most people believe that Mike Piazza's best season was 1997, when he slugged 40 home runs, hit for a .362 average and knocked in 124 runs.
