Mike Phillips (Michael Phillips) was born on November 22, 1921 in Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania. After going to high school at Clifton Heights (PA), Phillips attended McDaniel College. Phillips made his professional debut in the AAFC in 1947 with the Baltimore Colts. He played for the Baltimore Colts for his entire 1 year career.
