Born on April 18, 1945 in Detroit, Michigan, Mike Paul (Michael George Paul) played for the Cleveland Indians, Texas Rangers and Chicago Cubs over the course of his 7 year career. Paul broke into the bigs on May 27, 1968 with the Cleveland Indians, and put up a 3.93 ERA in 91.2 innings pitched in 1968, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Mike Paul's best season was 1972, when he posted a 2.17 ERA and struck out 108 batters.
