Mike Parrott

Born on December 6, 1954 in Oxnard, California, Mike Parrott (Michael Everett Parrott) played for the Baltimore Orioles and Seattle Mariners over the course of his 5 year career. Parrott broke into the bigs on September 5, 1977 with the Baltimore Orioles, and put up a 5.14 ERA in 82.1 innings pitched in 1978, his rookie year.
Most people believe that Mike Parrott's best season was 1979, when he posted a 3.77 ERA, won 14 games and struck out 127 batters.
