Mike Michalske (August Michael Michalske) was born on April 24, 1902 in Cleveland, Ohio. Michalske attended Pennsylvania State University. Michalske made his professional debut in the AFLG in 1926 with the New York Yankees. He played in the AFLG for 1 year, playing for the New York Yankees the entire time. Michalske also played in the NFL for 10 years, playing for the Green Bay Packers and New York Yankees over the course of his 10 year NFL career.

Most people believe that 1932 was Mike Michalske's best year, as he ran back a fumble for a touchdown.
