Mike Marshall (Michael Allen Marshall) was born on January 12, 1960 in Libertyville, Illinois. He made his Major League debut on September 7, 1981 for the Los Angeles Dodgers. In 1983, his rookie year, he hit .284 with 17 home runs and 65 RBI. Marshall played for the Los Angeles Dodgers, New York Mets, Boston Red Sox and California Angels over the course of his 11 year career.

Most people believe that Mike Marshall's best season was 1985, when he slugged 28 home runs, hit for a .293 average and knocked in 95 runs.
