Mike Macfarlane (Michael Andrew Macfarlane) was born on April 12, 1964 in Stockton, California. He made his Major League debut on July 23, 1987 for the Kansas City Royals. In 1988, his rookie year, he hit .265 with 4 home runs and 26 RBI. Macfarlane played for the Kansas City Royals, Boston Red Sox and Oakland Athletics over the course of his 13 year career.

Most people believe that Mike Macfarlane's best season was 1993, when he slugged 20 home runs and knocked in 67 runs.
