Born on March 5, 1977 in Las Vegas, Nevada, Mike MacDougal (Robert Meiklejohn MacDougal) played for the Kansas City Royals and Chicago White Sox over the course of his 6 year career. MacDougal broke into the bigs on September 22, 2001 with the Kansas City Royals, and put up a 4.08 ERA in 64 innings pitched in 2003, his rookie year.

Most people believe that Mike MacDougal's best season was 2005, when he posted a 3.33 ERA, notched 21 saves and struck out 72 batters.
