Mike Kingery (Michael Scott Kingery) was born on March 29, 1961 in St. James, Minnesota. He made his Major League debut on July 7, 1986 for the Kansas City Royals. In 1986, his rookie year, he hit .258 with 3 home runs and 14 RBI. Kingery played for the Kansas City Royals, Seattle Mariners, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Athletics, Colorado Rockies and Pittsburgh Pirates over the course of his 10 year career.

There is some disagreement on what was Mike Kingery's most productive season. Some believe that it was 1987, when he hit for a .280 average and knocked in 52 runs. However, others believe that it was 1994, when he hit for a .349 average.
