Mike Kinek (Michael Kenneth Kinek) was born on August 11, 1917 in Akron, Ohio. After going to high school at Whiting (IN), Kinek attended Michigan State University. Kinek made his professional debut in the NFL in 1940 with the Cleveland Rams. He played for the Cleveland Rams for his entire 1 year career.
